Prodigy - a word that accurately describes guitar sensation Nick Sterling, who by the age of 13 had opened for Aerosmith and jammed with the likes of Kid Rock. Now the unassuming and friendly teenager produces his own records from his home studio here in the Valley.

At 15, Sterling writes his music and lyrics, and plays every instrument in his recordings. Sterling was gracious enough to invite The Times in for a glimpse of what the office of a growing sensation looks like.

The studio may seem a bit excessive for such a young rocker, but then Nick’s already-successful career is certain to continue its rise. His play has gained the attention of some of the most storied rockers in history.
