How to Play
- Find clues for the contest inside of the Times Publications circulated at more than 3,000 locations Valleywide. Visit the Treasure Hunt page at www.timespublications.com for a sample of locations. Clues will be released both on Times Publications’ website www.timespublications.com and within the print editions of the publications until the $1,000 certificate is found. There will be “Bonus Clues” released via The Times Twitter account, @TimesPubs throughout the hunt. In order to view clues released on Twitter, visit www.twitter.com on the World Wide Web and search for TimesPubs. In order to receive notification of a posted new bonus clue, contestants must become a “follower” of @TimesPubs on www.twitter.com.
The $1,000 certificate has been hidden in a public place within Maricopa County, Arizona. The first person to find the certificate and bring it into the Times Media Group offices located at 3200 N. Hayden, Suite 210 – Scottsdale, AZ 85251 will be declared the winner and will receive a check for $1,000. The certificate has been authenticated with the signature of the publisher. Any certificate not bearing the signature of the publisher will not be honored.
Contest Rules
There is no purchase necessary to participate in the contest. This contest is void where prohibited. The individual who redeems the hidden certificate in person and identifies him/herself as the finder shall be considered the contest winner. Winning contestants shall have the sole responsibility of reporting winnings to appropriate government bodies and paying all applicable taxes.
In the unlikely event that the certificate is not found, and redeemed in person by April 20, 2012, the certificate will be re-hidden and a new contest will commence.
No guarantees are made by Times Publications, its affiliates or contest sponsors. Any participant in the Times Publications Treasure Hunt is asked to be respectful of property while searching for the coins. Anyone found to have destroyed property while looking for the hidden coins will be disqualified from the contest and any available legal action will be pursued.
Eligibility
All entrants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a citizen of the United States. All winners require legal proof of age, identity and residency along with a submitted photo if requested. This contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. All employees, including contracted employees of Times Publications, and their immediate family members are prohibited from participating in this contest without exception.
Acceptance of Conditions by Participants
Use of entrants’ names and photographs: By entering the contest, each entrant grants permission, without further compensation, to allow Times Publications to use the entrant’s name, photograph and other material for broadcast in its publications and on its website for purposes related to the contest. By entering, the contest winner agrees that he or she may be required to sign a release and waiver of liability and a receipt and by failing to do so, the prize may be forfeited.
All participants and entrants agree to release Times Publications, its parent company Strickbine Publishing, Inc., contest sponsors and its affiliates from any claim, loss, liability, damage or injury of any kind arising from participation in the contest, or for their receipt and use of the prize money. This contest shall be governed and enforced by the general laws of the state of Arizona, notwithstanding any choice of law provisions to the contrary.

Times Publications reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time prior to delivery of the prizes.
